A Human-Centered Democracy for the 21st Century
Systems should serve people.
Not the other way around.
America does not lack wealth, talent, technology, or workers. What it lacks is a set of systems that turn those strengths into stable, dignified lives. The American Mainspring Project is a plan to fix that: build what people need, repair what no longer works, and make systems serve human life.
“This is not a fight between big government and small government. The better question is whether a system works for the people it is supposed to serve.”
What We Believe
We are not anti-market. We are anti-extraction. We are not anti-government. We are anti-broken-government. We are not anti-growth. We are for growth that produces stable, dignified, human lives. This is not nostalgia. It is renewal.
The Governing Framework
Five promises, delivered by ten pillars
- 1Make government work.
- 2Build enough, build well.
- 3Guarantee the foundations of a dignified life.
- 4Share the gains of innovation.
- 5Protect and renew democracy.
Built on Evidence
Ideas with the receipts attached
Every plank names real programs, studies, and precedents - automatic voter registration that already works and is bipartisan, the trillions spent invisibly through the tax code, the housing shortage we wrote into law. The platform is meant to be argued with on the merits.
Follow the links and judge the evidence for yourself. That is the only allegiance this asks for.
